The White Mountain Waldorf School is set high in New Hampshire's White Mountains near the base of the highest mountain in the Northeast, Mount Washington. The valley is a picture of everything a New England resort community should be: charming villages with white steepled churches, snow covered greens, sparkling silver rivers, and mountains that rise majestically against brilliant blue skies. Our geography and four-season climate assures a variety of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. Residents of the Mount Washington Valley and its surrounding communities may also enjoy a rich cultural life, including an internationally acclaimed music festival, and theater groups such as the original Barnstormers Theater. Many musicians, theater groups, and artisans call the valley their home.
Our school's 75 wooded acre campus is located just minutes from Conway Village.

Our land also abuts the
Tin Mountain Conservation Center, which not only offers views of the beautiful mountains, but opportunities for exploration by the children as well. Over the past couple of years our students have made several hiking trails throughout our property, and some of them merge with Tin Mountain Conservation Center's trails; to view the trail map, click on their link above.
