OUR ALMUNI ARE EXCELLING! Almuni Update... 3/28/12:  Emily Mathieu, along with 3 other active members of the Kennett High School Key Club, was recently selected as Member of the Month for January.  They were competitively selected  from a pool of approximately 90+ KHS Key Club members.  Due to her deep level of commitment and support of the Key Club's charitable and community service activities (espc in the month of January), Emily was chosen.  In addition to the club's regular community service activities, in January, they supported Special Olympics, an all-night fundraiser at the North Conway Community Center, and another fundraising event at the Flatbread Company. 
Mabel Albert, was recently the first high school student ever  to be selected to display artwork at The Upper Saco Valley Land Trust's Annual Art Celebrates Place, a show of works by local artists inspired by Upper Saco Valley Land Trust Conservation Easements from Jackson to Freedom.  This year's show, the 3rd Annual Art Celebrates Place, opens at the Tin Mountain Conservation Center on Saturday, 4/7/12 from 5:30-7:30pm and runs from Saturday, 4/7/12 ~Saturday, 5/20/12 9am-5pm.  For more information, call USVLT @ 603-356-9683.
 
Grace Remillard, was in the play Disco Inferno as well as Shades of Gray, and continues to love theater, reading and cooking~ she has been cooking at the Inn at Crystal Lake, as well as working at the movie theater. Grace is on the track team; shot-put and discus are her best areas. She earned the Academic Achievement Award in Ceramics and Crafts, and most improved in English last year. This year, she is in Advanced British Literature as well as Trig.,Calc Prep, Chemistry, Early Childhood Education, and she continues with French lll. She was on the honor roll last semester and is beginning portfolio preparation for college applications.  Grace is looking at Art Colleges that offer drama/theater and psychology. She is also proud to have been a member of the "Eldest Class".
